As a new blog obviously my blog content is going to very low. It’s quite annoying, I hate seeing all that free space calling out for content. I guess the trap a lot of people fall in to is the ”Ad Trap”. With all that free space sitting on your site you think ”I know, I’ll fill it with ads”. Yeah, I have thought about placing ads around the place to make the site look busier. But what’s a new visitor to the site going to think ”Ahhh, just another page begging for adsense clicks”.
With very little traffic coming in at the moment, I’m going to have to instantly impress visitors. And the only way I’m going to impress this early in the game is by having rock solid content. Writing a book for each post isn’t necessary. It’s about keeping the content fresh, informative and interesting. Over the next month I’m going to set a 5 post maximum a day limit and then reduce that to 3 for the next month. Hopefully this should give me a nice back log of content and a fuller looking site.
